The first time you see the Looper coffee metal table base, your brain spends a second trying to figure out how it works. Three oval steel rings, crossing through each other at different angles, look more like a sculpture mid-motion than a table base. Looper’s geometry makes it visually interesting, which is exactly what makes it structurally sound.

Powder-coated steel, matte black finish, 23 by 23 by 16 inches. We've shown it here under a round epoxy wood top, but the Looper sits just as well under natural wood or whatever surface you already have in mind. The metal coffee table base does enough on its own. The top just gets to come along for the ride.

Looper Steel Base, Three Rings Locked Together: Each base is built from heavy-duty powder-coated steel with a matte black finish that holds up against scratches, rust, and the daily contact a coffee table takes. The oval rings form one unbroken structure that keeps its shape and keeps the table in place through everything a coffee table deals with.
Works With Round or Square Tops: The Looper mounting plate works with round and square tops without any modification. Our handcrafted tops or yours, either way, the base holds it together.
No Uneven Legs, Ever: Adjustable leveling feet are built in so the coffee table sits perfectly flat from the first use on any floor type.
Wide Ring Spread, Low and Stable: Those three rings extend across a broad footprint close to the floor. During daily use or busier moments, the table stays grounded, and nothing moves.
Simpler Assembly Than It Looks: Everything comes in the box, hardware and instructions included. Most people have it mounted and ready in under 20 minutes.

Every Table is Unique: Since each table is individually handcrafted, minor variations in size and finish are normal.

Small Rounds (under 22"): ±0.05" - 0.1" tolerance
Medium Rounds (23" - under 52"): ±0.1" - 0.2" tolerance
Large Rounds (over 52"): ±0.4" tolerance
Square Tables: ±0.1" - 0.2" tolerance
Rectangle Tables: ±0.04" - 0.08" tolerance

Shipping & Returns: Every order ships free with standard delivery. Returns are accepted within 7 days of arrival. Warehouse pickup is available for local customers.

Care Instructions: Regular wipe down with a damp microfiber cloth keeps the finish looking fresh. Avoid sharp objects, abrasive cleaners, and anything that brings sustained heat or moisture to the surface.

How do I know which base size works with my table top?

As a general rule, your table base or legs should sit well within the footprint of your table top, leaving enough overhang on all sides for visual balance and stability.

Do the table tops shown in the photos match exactly what I'll receive?

No, and that's actually a good thing. Every epoxy table top we make is handcrafted from natural materials, so wood grain, epoxy flow, and coloring will vary from piece to piece. That means each piece comes out with its own character, which is what makes it unique and worth having.

What is the stone fill included with some tabletop options?

Some of our tabletop options come with an internal stone fill added to the base of the top. This adds grounded weight to the setup, giving the table base extra stability on smooth or polished floors. The stone fill weight is listed alongside each table top option.

Can I use my own tabletop with these bases?

Yes. All our table legs and bases come with mounting plates and hardware so you can attach your own slab, butcher block, or custom top. Just check the mounting plate dimensions listed in each product and make sure your top is thick enough to accommodate the screws included.

How long does it take to receive my table?
