What height should an end table be?
Let’s start with your sofa arm, then stay within two inches of the sofa arm’s height. That way, you can set down a cup without reaching up or down. Most sofa arms sit between 22 and 26 inches, so most living room end tables land in that range, too. Simply send us your sofa measurements, and we'll confirm the fit before you order.
Can I use end tables in the bedroom?
A 48" bench seats 2 adults, or up to 3 children comfortably. If you move up to 60" or 72", you will fit three adults, or a full row of kids at a holiday dinner. As a rule of thumb, you should choose a dining bench about 12” shorter than your tabletop, so it tucks in cleanly. Better yet, send us your table measurements, and we’ll confirm the fit before you order.
Should I choose round end tables or square ones?
Round end tables suit tight spaces and busy walkways, because there are no corners to bump into. Square and rectangular shapes sit flush against a sofa arm or wall and give you a little more surface. Suppose you have a small room, round end tables with a slim steel base keep the floor open and the room feeling bigger.
