With 20+ years of experience in the furniture-making trade and in lumber sourcing, he takes woodworking jargon and sets it down in plain language that allows beginners as well as seasoned craftsmen to get excellent results.

Jimmy’s Journey

Jimmy's passion for woodworking started when he was a little kid in his grandfather's garage workshop. That is when he realized that working with wood calls for patience, precision, and lots of creativity. After finishing his apprenticeship with master furniture makers in North Carolina, Jimmy decided to spend his life perfecting his craft. 

He worked in many different areas of woodworking, such as making fine cabinets, creating architectural millwork for large buildings, etc. Through years of trial and error and long hours of dedication, he refined his skills into the seasoned expertise he has today.

He knows traditional woodworking methods inside and out, but he also stays current with the latest techniques. He works with everything from epoxy resin applications and CNC machines to eco-friendly woodworking practices.

Now, as an experienced craftsman, he's eager to pass on his hard-earned knowledge to help other woodworkers grow in their craft.
